Always stop here when we're in the area. Amazing chowder, ahi tuna and crab cakes. Super service, some local draft beers. ⁸
Surprisingly good. Got a flounder sandwich and swamp burger. Smoked fish dip was not amazing, but everything else was good. The overall feel of the place was fun and enjoyed our stay. Bad blind spot coming out of parking lot though so be careful.
Stopped off at Ed's on our way driving back up to Philadelphia. We had the chouder pot, very tasty. Also the tuna, which my partner said was one of the best hes ever had and he's a big foodie. I had a really good crab cake. Definitely a great place to stop.
The chowder was fantastic and it was so fun to be actually eating out of the cooking pot. It just added to the ambience. We sat outside next to the water and the whole experience was so rewarding. The staff was genuinely friendly and treated us like family
Loved the chowder, who would have thought to add green olives. Brussel sprouts were fantastic, hint of sweet with the balsamic vinegar. I remember the original one and loved him, this one stands just fine on its own.
The chowder was fantastic. The blackened trigger fish was also so good. I wanted to buy a gallon to take with me, but she said, I would need to let her know one day ahead, just to make sure she wouldn't run out for the regulars.
I wanted to go to Chowder Ted’s. So, off we went. I had the Moroccan chowder-small bowl, I had the crab cakes on top of a salad. I had sweet tea for my drink. We arrived a little before noon. The front dining room was full, so we chose a spot in the back with a view of the water. The food was phenomenal, service was perfect and the atmosphere was good. Pros:great food Cons:the driveway is steep and a blind spot when exiting-so use extreme caution. Recommend? 100% YES
After a day in the sun, my best friend decided I had to experience Chowder Ted's. The onion rings reminded me of my childhood. 🥹🥹 The burger was massive, and I could barely fit my mouth around it. The Cajun fries were a perfect spicy compliment to the burger.
